The UP Mountaineers brings you a bigger, longer, and way more fun open climb season in 2009!
Talikasan Series 2009 offers you more and varied climbing/hiking destinations that everyone can enjoy. These trips are for novice and non-climbers, particularly students on a budget. This is not your usual summer outing and could be the challenge you are waiting for.
Watch out for the (tentative) trips we have in store for you:
- Pundaquit-Anawangin Traverse - San Antonio, Zambales (January 31 - February 1)
- Pico de Loro - Ternate, Cavite (February 21-22, 2009)
- Mt. Pulag (via Ambangeg), Benguet (March 14-16, 2009)
- Mt. Puange - Tarlac (March 28-29, 2009)
- Bagsit River, Zambalesv (April 2009)
- Tinipac River Hike, Rizal-Laguna
- South Laguna Circuit - TBA
- Wain, Somewhere in Bataan (Hike-a-beach) - TBA
- Mt. Daguldol - San Juan, Batangas (May 9-10, 2009)
- Talikasan NEPAL (Khumbu area) - Tentative Late April or Early May (subject to a minimum number or participants)
So start saving up your weekends (and leave credits), because your summer will be looong!
